Independent Trucks was founded in 1978 in Santa Cruz, California, and is renowned for creating the finest skateboarding trucks globally. Their formula for achievement involves crafting skateboard trucks using top-quality aluminium and titanium materials, ensuring they are exceptionally robust and durable.

With Independent's growth over the years, its product line has expanded. The Independent Stage trucks are available in standard, hollow, or forged hollow versions, catering to a variety of truck sizes. Additionally, they've broadened their offerings to include equally dependable Independent bushings, bearings, and hardware.

Several professional skateboarders, such as Andrew Reynolds, Luan Oliveira, and Leo Romero, have signature models with Independent. Moreover, iconic riders like Brian Anderson, Evan Smith, and Aaron “Jaws” Homoki have all enjoyed riding with the Independent team. While a skateboarding brand shouldn't only be evaluated by its roster of pro riders, if that were the case, Independent would be top-tier.
