Skateboard Cruiser Trucks
Find Cruiser Trucks That Match Your Style
When selecting cruiser skateboard trucks, there are no specific guidelines for the type you must choose. You can opt for standard kingpin trucks, which are typically seen on modern skateboards, or reverse kingpin trucks, usually utilised for longboards. Most smaller cruisers feature topmount trucks, which are fastened underneath the deck.
Trucks on cruisers are commonly a bit looser in comparison to those on skateboards or longboards, allowing for sharp and quick turns.
Choosing the Right Size Trucks for Your Cruiser
When it comes to cruiser trucks, as a general rule, select a pair that matches the width of your deck. Typically, 150mm is the most compatible size for the majority of cruisers, though there is flexibility for both larger and smaller sizes. For more detailed guidance on the appropriate size for your board, refer to our Skateboard Truck Size Chart.
The choice of size is ultimately yours, but ensuring ample wheel clearance is crucial. If your trucks are overly large, it increases the risk of wheelbite, which can detract from the cruising experience.
Should wheelbite still be an issue, consider investing in Cruiser Skateboard Risers.
