Bold Projects – When Boldness Drives Good

Founded in Helsinki in 2018, Bold Projects is a nonprofit organization composed of inspiring and courageous individuals. They engage in a variety of sports challenges, both possible and impossible, to raise funds for charities, achieving remarkable results. This initiative aligns seamlessly with SkatePro Giveback.

Bold Projects undertook a journey across Finland, from Nuorgam in the north to Helsinki in the south, on inline skates. Their mission: to raise funds for Tukikummit, an organization dedicated to supporting marginalized youth facing mental health challenges in Finland.

“Of all the projects we have done with Bold Projects, roller skating from Nuorgam to Helsinki is one of the most enjoyable but also one of the most mentally exhausting. It took us eleven days and eleven nights to roller skate 1400 kilometers and gather over 7000 euros for the youth in Finland who are at risk of becoming marginalized.“ - Bold Projects.

SkatePro’s Contribution to Bold Projects

The team required high-quality gear to accomplish their goal. We agreed to donate €500 worth of premium skating equipment for each skater, totaling €2,000. They received ski poles, protective gear, and the reliable Powerslide Arise Marathon Inline Skates at favorable prices.

Bold Projects raised an impressive €7,000 to support youngsters in need. We are incredibly proud to have contributed to this exceptional effort.
