Guide to Installing EST Bindings
In this video, we demonstrate the process of fitting EST bindings onto your snowboard. Burton's EST bindings utilise the channel system and are among the most prevalent snowboard binding systems in use today:
- Firstly, ensure you possess an EST binding. It ought to include a channel insert.
- Subsequently, lift off the rubber cover from the channel with a flat screwdriver.
- Position the EST mounting hardware within the channel.
- The following step is to open your binding.
- Bear in mind that the board has a suggested mounting position.
- Position your binding in line with the hardware you’ve just attached.
- Press down on the channel insert to secure it within the channel.
- Utilise the supplied screws and begin attaching them to the board with a Phillips screwdriver. Leave them loose initially.
- The binding should be able to move freely now.
- Adjust the binding with reference to the markers on the board.
- At this stage, you may tighten the screws completely and replace the rubber cover.
Your bindings are now securely fixed!
