Impulse 104 Backcountry Skis

The Black Diamond Impulse 104 are crafted to be the perfect option for advanced riders. The core of these skis consists of wood, fibreglass and poplar. Poplar wood provides a balance of playfulness and stability.

Featuring a profile with rocker at both the tip and tail, they facilitate easier turns in dense snow. The radius of this ski model can range from 17 to 19 m depending on the length you select. Choosing skis with a medium radius of about 15-18 m offers good turn initiation and respectable control at high speed. On the other hand, radius sizes over 18 m deliver long turns along with excellent control at high speed.
