Base Kit Prep Grip Ski Glide Wax

The Base Prep Grip Kit is an all-in-one set designed for cleaning and preparing the waxing area on your classic cross-country skis.

Items included in this kit:

• Scraper with sandpaper
• Wax Remover
• Fiberlene Paper
• Base Spray
• Synthetic cork block

Note: Wax for different temperature conditions is not provided.

1) Cleaning: Utilise the sharp edge of the scraper to clear away old kick wax from the kick zone.

2) Cleansing: Apply wax remover onto the Fiberlene paper and wipe the base of the kick zone to eliminate any lingering old kick wax.

3) Preparing for new wax: Once the wax remover has dissipated, use the sandpaper on the scraper to gently rub the kick zone area. Then, wipe it clean and spray a layer of Base Spray solely in the kick zone, allowing the moisture to evaporate.

4) After cleaning and preparing your skis for the appropriate kick zone wax relative to the temperature, apply the kick zone wax (purchased separately) to the kick zone, following the temperature conditions you will be skiing in. You can warm the kick wax into the base using the synthetic cork block included in this package.
