The Steel Freestyle BMX Pegs by Fiction are crafted from robust Chromoly steel and are available in sets of either 2 pieces or 4 pieces. They are engineered for 14mm axles, and come with spacers included for a 10mm setup (1x spacer per peg).

Should I choose 2x or 4x pegs?

It depends on your personal preference and riding style.

The majority of park riders use just 2x pegs - 1x on the front wheel and 1x on the rear wheel. This setup permits a range of tricks, such as double peg stalls and grinds on one side (ideally the non-driver side). By opting for just 2x pegs, you can reduce weight slightly and avoid the inconvenience of your foot hitting the peg.

Most street riders opt for a complete 4x peg setup due to the high amount of grinding they perform. 4x pegs enable grinding on both sides, unlocking a myriad of grind-lines to investigate. Also, choose 4x pegs if you are keen to attempt some flatland tricks.
