The Swerve X Aero Pro Cassette BMX Rear Wheel by BSD is a premium complete wheelset, perfectly suited for both street and park riding. This precise pairing of rim and hub is the very setup that the newly joined SkatePro team rider and BSD icon, Kriss Kyle, uses daily.
As suggested by its name, this wheelset incorporates the rapidly engaging Swerve Hub and the exceptionally robust double-walled Aero Rim - both upgrade parts from BSD.

Notice: The tyre and hub guards are not included. To achieve the complete Kriss Kyle style, consider adding a pair of BSD's Jersey Barrier hub guards and the BSD Donnastreet tyre.

| "Great wheel. Terrible build. After a couple hours of tensioning and riding in between to bed the wheel in it’s a great hub rim combo. Sadly it arrived with some spokes *completely* loose (flopping around), very inconsistent tension throughout (not enough to take the curve out of the spokes from lacing), rim was not true and almost all of the nipple and spokes are marred from careless use of tools. Not cool. Top of the line wheel from a company that prides itself on its engineering, it’s quite sad as all the other BSD parts I’ve got have been great. It’s hard to give only 2 stars as the parts are really great, but if I’m buying a prebuilt wheel the build is a big part of the product and it doesn’t warrant more than that, so the review cannot surpass that rating in my eyes. If I wasn’t so experienced mechanically and either able to fix myself or think to check for that stuff, someone could easily have just ridden it and had it fail on them." | |
