Star 5mm Back Zip Wetsuit

The Star series of wetsuits offers top-notch options ideal for various water sports, presenting the broadest assortment of entry styles and designs from the Mystic range. The principal aim has been to create an affordable suit that excels in both style and functionality.

For the current season, some fantastic enhancements have been made. All the full suits now feature a soft and warming polar lining on the chest and back areas. Furthermore, Mystic has introduced critical neoprene taping along the seams, which offers enhanced protection against water infiltration.

Features:

• Glued Blind Stitched
  • This method of initially gluing the seams before stitching them partially through the material provides excellent seam waterproofing.
• Critical Taping Inside
  • Essential taping is applied in key areas within the wetsuit to stop water intrusion efficiently.
• Glideskin Thin Neck Construction
  • The Thin Neck construction, with its reduced thickness, allows the neoprene to contour to the neck naturally, minimising pressure. This adaptation feels like a second skin and provides exceptional water sealing.
• Aquabarrier
  • An Aquabarrier silicone print is strategically placed to create a barrier, preventing water from entering the suit.
• 4-way Stretch Kneepads
  • Super-Tex fabric is used at the knees, offering outstanding durability and greater flexibility to facilitate freedom of movement while protecting the knees.
• Velcro Ankle Closure
  • Velcro straps are provided for the ankle area, enhancing fit and improving water resistance. Since they are not attached to the suit, they remain optional for the wearer.
• Back-Zip
  • The Back-Zip method is the most traditional approach to securing a wetsuit. It is the simplest way of wearing the suit but typically permits some water entry through the back of the neck liner, which can be mitigated with a double lining, depending on the model.

• 50% M-Flex
  • M-Flex is a premium neoprene material offering excellent flexibility and an exceptional stretch ratio.
• 50% Soft Touch
  • The core component of all wetsuits is neoprene. Mystic utilises this Soft Touch material for many suits. It consists of a carefully bonded layer of soft neoprene that ensures comfort and an optimal fit.
• Polar Lining (panel on chest and back)
  • For cold water activities, the Mystic suits' Polar lining is unparalleled. This internal layer is soft to the touch and reflects body heat, keeping you warmer for longer.
