G13 Speed Skate Wheel

Advanced wheels for speed skating. Developed utilising the four-component TR3 system "Core improvement" and G13 Polyurethane. Matter laboratories, in collaboration with the Powerslide Matter racing team, are extremely confident that this wheel will dominate track and road racing for many years ahead.

The G13 PU provides excellent grip without ever sacrificing roll and delivers superb pop out of the corners. It employs S.E.R.T. technology, which stands for Stored Energy Ring Technology. Neal Piper, the engineer responsible for the wheel, best explains this technology:

"One of the most important structures in any inline racing wheel is the transition layer where a softer structure joins with a much harder mounting base. This is a highly critical energy management zone for a wheel. At this crucial hinge or pivot point, the power of the push and the 'stored rotational energy' within the deflected tyre cannot be lost. When a transition or mounting layer between the PU tyre and harder plastic hub is constructed properly, it ensures a perfect balance between tyre flexibility and energy release across the entire wheel."
