NTN Freedom Telemark Ski Bindings

If you enjoy the elegance of telemark skiing with free heels, the NTN Freedom telemark bindings from Rottefella may be your next choice.

The brake arms/stoppers measure 110mm in width. Additional stoppers with widths of 95mm or 125mm can be purchased separately.

These telemark bindings from Rottefella are lightweight, offering a precise progressive flex and excellent power transfer. They are an ideal option for skiers who favour touring with a focus on light gear. The two heel lift options at 35mm and 65mm make uphill walking more convenient, with a walking opening angle of 60 degrees.

The bindings are straightforward to manage for stepping in and out, as well as for switching between downhill skiing and uphill walking modes with easier flex.

Compatibility:
These bindings are compatible only with NTN (New Telemark Norm) telemark boots from brands such as Crispi, Scarpa, and Scott.

Flexibility (Alternative flexibility power tubes can be acquired separately):

• The small version is equipped with a soft (green) power tube to provide a gentle flex.
• The large version includes a medium (blue) power tube for a moderate flex.

Rottefella suggests green power tubes for small boots under 26.5 mondopoint and blue power tubes for large boots over 26.5 mondopoint.

Sizes:

• The Small accommodates boot sizes 22.0 - 26.0 mondopoint from Scarpa and Crispi, and boot sizes 22.0 - 25.5 mondopoint from Garmont and Scott.
• The Large is suited for boot sizes 26.0 mondopoint and above from Garmont and Scott, and boot sizes 26.5 mondopoint and above from Scarpa and Crispi.

Note: These bindings do not feature a traditional ISO-certified heel and toe release function. However, Rottefella has integrated a release feature—Rottefella's guidance should be followed for mounting and adjusting the release function of the bindings.
