Description
The NTN Freeride telemark bindings are robust and ideal for resort skiing and freeride adventures off-piste.
The brake arms or stoppers measure 110mm in width. Stoppers with widths of 95mm or 125mm can be purchased separately.
These bindings feature an effortless step-in and step-out system, with modes for both downhill skiing and uphill walking—naturally, with permanently free heels.
Rottefella's NTN Freeride represents the more heavy-duty variant of their telemark bindings. They provide excellent stability and rapid response, leading to enhanced ski control. The bindings come with a single heel lift option of 50mm.
Compatibility:
These bindings are solely compatible with NTN (New Telemark Norm) telemark boots from the brands Crispi, Scarpa, and Scott.
Flexibility (Powertubes with other flexibility can be purchased separately):
- The small version includes a soft (green) powertube creating a gentle flex.
- The large version includes a medium (blue) powertube creating a moderate flex.
Rottefella suggests green powertubes for small boots <26.5 mondopoint and blue powertubes for large boots >26.5 mondopoint.
Sizes:
- The Small fits boot sizes 22.0 - 26.0 Mondopoint from the brands Scarpa and Crispi and boot sizes 22.0 - 25.5 Mondopoint from the brands Garmont and Scott.
- The Large accommodates boot sizes 26.0 Mondopoint and upwards from the brands Garmont and Scott, and boot sizes 26.5 Mondopoint and upwards from the brands Scarpa and Crispi.
Note: These bindings do not feature a traditional nor ISO certified heel and toe release functionality. Nevertheless, Rottefella has devised a release mechanism—we adhere to Rottefella's guidance when mounting and adjusting this release functionality.

"Excellent down hill telly binding. Well suited for aggressive skiers. Great for carving in natural or groomed trails. Quick response, so grant in moguls and pretty much anything the mountain throws at you. Very robust (had mine 10 years, full seasons). Great if you have more than one pair of skis, because very easily switchable form on pair of sticks to the next. I would not recommend for back country and ascension because too heavy. Awesome free ride binding. Won,t come off easily of you land a fall." | |
