The Guardian MNC 13 touring ski binding by Salomon is equipped with a free heel function that enables you to ascend mountains in walking mode while keeping your skis on. Additionally, the MNC technology (Multi Norm Certified) permits the adjustment of bindings to accommodate both standard alpine ski boots (ISO 5355) and alpine touring ski boots that conform to the ISO 9523 norms, as well as alpine ski boots with WTR (Walk To Ride) outer soles.

These bindings include a brake arm system, similar to that found in traditional alpine bindings, and with a relatively low stand height, they enhance power transmission and provide better feedback from the terrain.
