Description

The Wilson MG2 Mouth Guard is expertly designed to reduce the risk of concussions and dental harm during intense sporting activities. Made from materials that are both high-quality and long-lasting, this mouthguard offers a comfy and secure fit, enabling you to concentrate on your sport without any disruption.

Featuring a state-of-the-art dual-layer composition, the Wilson MG2 Mouth Guard delivers outstanding protection from impacts and shocks. The exterior layer efficiently spreads out forceful impacts, while the interior layer absorbs and cushions, thereby diminishing the chance of injury to your teeth, gums, and jaws.

Ideal Fit for Adults and Youth:

Wilson appreciates the importance of comfort and fit, thus the MG2 Mouth Guard is available in two sizes: adult and youth.

The adult model is appropriate for those aged 10 and upwards, whilst the youth version is designed for children aged 10 years and under.

Size: Adult suits ages over 10 / Youth suits ages under 10

Fitting the Mouthguard, Important! Boiling water can pose a risk!

  1. Bring the water to a boil and allow it to sit for 30 seconds before placing the adult guard into the water for 70 seconds. (30 seconds for Youth)

  2. Retrieve the guard from the water using a spoon, shake off any excess water, and quickly centre the guard on the upper teeth. (The guard should still be warm)

  3. With the upper teeth centred, gently bite down and suck or squeeze out air and excess water from the guard using your tongue. You may also utilise your fingers to press the protector into place externally.

  4. Keep the guard in the mouth for 30 seconds, then remove and rinse under cold running water.

  5. If the fit is not quite right, repeat the steps until it feels optimal.

  6. Should the guard be slightly too large, some of the ends can be trimmed off with a knife.

"The description of the gum shield did not match what I received. The gum shield was far too thick to wear over night It was the most uncomfortable protection I have ever worn. I was left with aching gums the following morning and sores on the corners of my mouth."

Reply from SkatePro:  We are very sorry to hear that the mouth guard didn't live up to you expectations. It is very normal to feel sore gums the first couple of times you use a new mouth guard, even when you are just using it for half an hour. If you plan to use the mouth guard for a dental purpose, we would recommend you to contact your dentist first. If you have any questions please contact our customer service on Email@Skatepro.uk
