Killer Plates

The Roll-Line Killer plates designed for roller derby boots provide an exceptional choice for those seeking to enhance their equipment with a lightweight and highly manoeuvrable setup. Composed of a specialised lightweight aluminium alloy, the base offers superior strength, while the trucks are crafted from steel. This entire design utilises a cross brace structure, ensuring remarkable structural rigidity while maintaining minimal weight.

The trucks have been set at varied angles to improve functionality. The increased inclination of the front axle enables skaters to initiate turns with greater ease and reduced pressure. Conversely, the diminished inclination of the rear axle enhances stability and alignment during turns.

The Killer plates feature Roll-Line's own top-notch cushions, provided from the manufacturer with a medium hardness setting.

Thanks to the click action adjustment system, achieving even tension across your plates has never been simpler. Tighten the nut until you hear a distinct click. Just count the clicks you hear until the trucks are positioned exactly as desired – then mirror this procedure on the other plate for a consistent outcome. To facilitate easier steering in reverse, it is advisable to loosen the rear kingpin nuts by one click compared to the front truck.

The plates are equipped with the Ambra Super Professional toe stopper, made from natural rubber which ensures no marks are left on the floor. Moreover, the natural rubber provides excellent grip for rapid directional changes or immediate stops.

This iteration comes with 8mm axles and utilises a metric thread in the toe stop mounts.
