Heat Moulding Instructions
1. Bring water to a boil (approximately 3 cups of boiling water per boot needed).
2. Whilst water heats up, roll down the cuffs of your Solite boots and set them in a sink.
3. Don your Solite Heat Booster socks if you intend to wear them within your boots.
4. Once water is at a full bubbling boil, carefully pour it into your Solite boots (in the sink), filling each to just below the seam where neoprene upper meets the sole. Refer to the photo.
5. Allow 5 minutes for the boiling water to soften the sole material.
6. After 5 minutes, gently empty the hot water from your Solite boot (doing one boot at a time) and quickly rinse the inside of the boot with cold water to reduce the surface temperature and prevent burns. Test with your hand as you want to insert your foot when it's comfortably warm.
7. Place your foot inside your Solite boot while wearing the Heat Booster sock if these are to be used regularly. Ensure your big toe is comfortable in the toe cavity and your heel is snug in the heel pocket.
8. Repeat Steps 6 and 7 for the other boot.
9. Secure the boot ankle straps if you have them.
10. Walk around in your Solite boots for 10-15 minutes to let them comfortably mould to your feet as they cool.
11. Once your Solite Boots are at room temperature, the moulding process is complete.
12. If dissatisfied with the fit, you may re-mould your Solite boots following the same steps. Your Solite boots should feel completely comfortable, almost as if they are part of your foot.
